NEW SEWELL READY TO HIT THE TRACK - posted 8 July, 2010
Another new Sewell frame - complete custom built bike is about to hit the tracks in WA.
Congratulations to D-Sel and Kerry on your new purchase. Last weekend was the first of many more
to come. Not only was the bike built completely at our property by Bill it was then ridden for two days
by D-sel (owner of Bike) on our track. It was a great opportunity for D-sel to learn all about his
bike, ride it at safe large track without other bikes around and then be able to wash it and get it
ready for transport.
There was plenty of spectators up on the hill to watch all the entertainment, not only did D-sel and
Kerry's family support and watch him over the two days we also had the company of the Laycock
clan and Budgie too ( what a great surprise seeing him pull in the driveway). A bon fire was lit and
the drinks ran until the wee hours of the morning.
It was really good to see a lot of hard work pay off. Without the many hours that Dispy gives up to
help out, with the job of building the new speedway and helping Bill everything would be so much
harder. We couldn't do it without him. thanks Dips your a legend.
We really look forward to now being able to provide this service to everyone who buys a new frame
from us. The track will be prepared and ready for all our customers to ride their bikes before they
take it home, alone with any other follow up service or practice they may require. Bill and Dispy will
be heading over to WA later in the month to help D-sel out for his first meeting on his new bike.

FRASER COAST SIDECAR CLASSIC - posted 6 July, 2010
Maryborough Speedway is back again on Saturday 14th August.
$30 per point except the final which will pay 1st - $700, 2nd - $500, 3rd - $200, 4th - $100.
Support divisions include:
Solos "Qld vs NSW" Test Match
Open Stock Bikes
Senior Stock Bikes (up to 250cc)
Senior Support Solos
Junior 350cc Solos
Nominations to Belinda Weismantel again on 0419 628 182 after 3:30pm.
Referee is Barry Newton and Clerk of the Course is Gary Davey.

SRF UPDATE - posted 21 June, 2010
Bill and Kim had a good day riding together at Nth Brisbane at their last meeting 5th June. Bill is
still not real happy with some things with his set-ups on his new bike, but their only minor. More
track time and laps will sort that out. It was a really enjoyable day, North Brisbane put on an good
day of riding, with plenty of sunshine.
Bill has began a new job Driving Road Trains with in the mines at Black Water in QLD. This will now
limit his racing to the weekends that he is not away . It's an experience and position he has been
waiting for, for some time now. Unfortunately this could also mean he is unable to ride the Titles
and other major meetings as we had planned. Even the time we had allowed for, in Nth Queensland
for the Pioneer Park, these meetings may now be effected too. The Plus side is he is real happy
with his new job.
On his days off Bill will continue with building Sidecars. With a few orders on the go we have plenty
to do. Keep your eye on our page for the new bike to hit the tracks. It looks unreal. The time and effort gone into this machine has been well worth it. Can't give to much away just yet, I'll guarantee this it was will one of the best looking sidecars in Australia.
